Special Occasions

The hall has seen many happy family events over the years from birthday parties to wedding receptions and christening celebrations.
Your special event can be an intimate occasion in the hall or a larger function on the private terrace at the back of the hall.

Filming

The location of the hall and its character has made it attractive to both the film and TV industry.  Examples include “Goodnight Mr Tom” and “The Great Outdoors”.  The parish is also known for Turville’s role in the “Vicar of Dibley” and it has starred in “Morse”, “Marple”, “Lewis” and many other TV series.

Classes and Corporate Events

The Hall has two sizeable rooms which can be used for meetings, training and workshops.  On sunny days the large private terrace is ideal for outdoor lunches or evening cocktail parties. Full details can be obtained from The Bookings Secretary.

Exhibitions

Be it arts and crafts, culture, horticulture, safety or sports - the Hall has been chosen on many occasions as an exhibition site.  Its ample space and easy access to main routes make it a great choice for all public events.

User Reviews

"Thank you for the hire of the Turville Northend Village Hall for our Anniversary tea. The hall and all its facilities were just ideal for all ages of our family, with its well equipped kitchen the addition of the smaller room and its courtyard garden." - Debbie

"We have used Northend Hall many times for various birthday parties for our children aged 10 to 4. We have always had a friendly welcome from the village hall team who have opened up the venue for us and made sure that we have everything we need. The hall is a great flexible and safe place for children's parties, we had 30 children and their parents at ours. Particularly handy is the ability to use the good sized kitchen to prepare party food. The hall is always clean and well presented with many parents commenting on its great setting in Northend." - Sara
